Public Lecture: "Alternatives for Refugees: Ending Child Detention in Asia-Pacific" feat. Expert Panel

Our partners in the New Zealand Centre for Human Rights Law, Policy & Practice is co-hosting a panel of international experts who will explore what role New Zealand can play to support regional protection for refugee children across Asia-Pacific. Panel members include:

  • Julia Mayerhof, Executive Officer, Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN)
  • Paul Power, Chair, APRRN Australia, New Zealand & Pacific Working Group
  • Dr Robyn Sampson, Senior Advisor & Research Coordinator, International Detention Coalition

The panel is co-hosted by Amnesty International Aotearoa New Zealand, the Asia-Pacific Refugee Rights Network and the International Detention Coalition.

There will be pre lecture drinks in the foyer from 5.30pm.
