HRLA expresses concerns about Health and Safety Reform Bill

The Aotearoa New Zealand Human Rights Lawyers Association (HRLA) has written to Minister Michael Woodhouse in respect of concerns we hold about the Health and Safety Reform Bill (the Bill), which is due to have its final reading in Parliament today.

The HRLA notes that the New Zealand Law Society (the Law Society) has written a letter expressing its concerns about the Bill and in particular Schedule 2A, which relates to classified security information.  We share some of the Law Society’s concerns.
