Coalition Report to New Zealand's second Universal Periodic Review

The HRLA worked with a coalition of over 20 New Zealand non-governmental and civil society organisations to prepare a report to New Zealand's second Universal Periodic Review (UPR), coordinated by the Human Rights Foundation.

The UPR is a unique  Human Rights Council (HRC) mechanism intended to improve the human rights situation on the ground in each country. Every 4.5 years, the HRC reviews each UN Member State's human rights performance.
